We are excited to begin the school year and hope everyone is enjoying their final days of Summer Break. I look forward to seeing our returning families and meeting our new families. We will kick-off the 2024-25 school year with our fall sports cross country, girls volleyball, and boys soccer. Below is important information so your student-athlete can be prepared for tryouts this fall (or this winter or spring!) as well as a couple other ways you can support Kingfisher Athletics. Sports Physical Days
Blue Ridge Health has availability for $10 sports physicals on 8/2 and 8/6 at IC Imagine. Interested parents will need to complete a Blue Ridge Health School Based Health Registration form, if not already on file, as well as bring their completed sports physical forms printed out from the Final Forms site to the appointment. Parents will need to call 828-233-2261 to schedule an appointment and walk-ins will not be taken. Families will be issued a bill for $10 after the appointment. (Money will not be collected at the appointment.)
Girls Tennis Program
We are determining if we have enough interest to establish a “Girls Tennis” for the Fall season. If your M.S or U.S student is interested for the 2024 Fall season, please complete the interest form below.
Fall Sports Tryout Info
All 6th - 12th grade students are invited to try out for any of our fall sports. Students must have a current sports physical on file in their Final Forms account before the first tryout date, so don’t wait until the last minute! If you have any questions, contact Coach Irvin (DevinIrvin@icimagine.org).

Final Forms (Athletic Physical Packet)
We will continue to use Final Forms to facilitate all our athletics paperwork, waivers, etc. This platform requires both a parent and student account because there are forms that both parties must sign/acknowledge. Additionally, the annual physical form can be accessed here, completed and uploaded. If you have a returning athlete, keep an eye out for notification that it is time to update your child’s physical and forms for the next school year. If you have a rising 6th grader interested in participating in Kingfisher Athletics next year, you are encouraged to go ahead and register. Final Forms user instructions can be found here. 24/25 Spirit Store
Our first Athletics spirit store for the 24/25 school year is open. We have some nice apparel, accessories, hats, bags, and more with a new design for all of our Fall, Winter, and Spring Sports. We also have band and art items, so be sure to stock up on your Kingfisher gear for this school year. Remember it takes 3-weeks for orders to come in once the store closes. {Please note the athletics spirit store is separate from the school spirit wear store.}
