Kingfisher Athletics is thrilled to announce its fall intramural basketball league is back for its 4th season! This league gets bigger and better every year, and is guaranteed to be fun for students and equally as exciting for spectators.
This co-ed league offers our elementary and middle school students (grades 4-8) the opportunity to participate in a league with their peers. There are 2 divisions: LS and MS. Teams are chosen by administration. Team coaches are parent and US student volunteers.
The league runs 7 weeks and culminates with an end-of-season tournament for each division. Each week, teams will have 20 minutes before their games to strategize with their coaches. Teams are welcome to practice on their own but are not required, noting that the IC Imagine gym is unavailable for practices.
The primary goal of this league is FUN! Additionally, students learn the basic physical and mental skills to help them learn and appreciate the game of basketball. We encourage everyone to play, even those trying out for the Middle School basketball teams.
