Third graders had an exciting field trip to City Hall, guided by City Councilperson Bo Hess and City Manager Debra Campbell, who presented in the Council Chambers. They also learned from the Asheville Police Department's Community Engagement officers, who showcased their therapy dog and explored the Asheville Fire Department's kitchen, dorm, and firehouse.

Students have 5 school days to complete assignments. More details about what to expect are available on our website. Students will be marked absent for the day and will be changed to present once assignments have been turned in and accounted for by teachers.
IC Imagine will be operating on a two-hour delay Thursday, 2/20 due to icy conditions. Arrival will begin at 9:15 am and school will begin at 10:00 am. If you ride the bus, the bus will be delayed by two hours as well. Stay Safe!
