Make sure to mark your calendars for June 6th, the evening of the IC Imagine Fine Arts Showcase and Fundraiser! We will have a K-12 Visual Art Show, performances by the US Choruses, Jazz Band, and MS Theater Department. We will have a special raffle of several items, including East Fork Pottery, Theater Tickets, Front Row Seats at Next Year's Concerts, and more! Mr. Jackson will be designing and screen printing posters to support the LS Visual Arts Department. And there will be snacks! This promises to be a very special evening, celebrating our student artists from all the Fine Arts departments!

IC Imagine will be having our 1st ever Co-ed 5v5 Flag football tournament at Buncombe County Sports Park. All players will choose their own teams, (unless you are registering as a "Free Agent").

Cost is free for players but we will be charging a one time admission fee for all tournament spectators. (ICI Students are free)

Both Middle School Choruses went to the North Carolina Music Performance Adjudications on Wednesday. Both groups performed well and represented IC Imagine well. The MS Beginning Chorus earned an excellent for their performance and sight reading. The MS Intermediate Chorus earned an excellent for their performance and superior for their sight reading! Op art took center stage in 4th grade as students studied the mesmerizing work of Bridget Riley. They created their own optical illusions, experimenting with pattern and contrast. In addition, they practiced visual storytelling by creating original comic strips, bringing their characters and ideas to life.
