Upper School Newsletter

Upper School Families,

Testing is underway and students are working diligently.  We want to say a huge “thank you” for all of the snack donations.  Our students are so appreciative and it has been so nice to be able to hand them a snack and chat with them while they are on break or on their way home. Please refer to the chart below for the schedule for the rest of the year.

Join us tonight at 5:00 pm for the Fine Arts Showcase and get ready to be amazed by the talents of IC Imagine's students!  This event guarantees to be a memorable celebration of creativity and hard work.

Graduation is Sunday, June 16th at 2:00 pm at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. Doors will open to friends and family with tickets at 1:15  pm. Each graduate gets 25 tickets at rehearsal on Friday. Any student that needs additional tickets please reach out to Melanye Crayton.  Please note that Thomas Wolfe does have a bag policy, click here for more info. Additionally, posters and noise makers of any kind are not allowed.

A few students may need to utilize summer school for attendance make-up or course recovery.  Our counselors, Mr. Frank and Ms. Vernau have emailed any parent of a child who is at risk for failure due to attendance and summer school and we will be supporting these students.  More information about summer school can be found here: https://www.icimagine.org/o/ic-imagine/page/upper-school-summer-school-information

We will send a special communication to Upper School Families once all grades are finalized in PowerSchool.  A hard copy of report cards will be available in the front office over the summer.  Our office hours over the summer are Monday-Thursday 8 a-2 p.  The school will be closed the week of July 1-5th.


The state is converting our Student Information System from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus.  This switch will happen on July 1st.  The last day you will be able to access PowerSchool will be June 27th. Due to this conversion, Upper School student schedules for 24-25 will be available for students in Infinite Campus later in the summer.  We will be communicating regularly over the summer regarding Infinite Campus for families and students.

Click here for next year’s school supply list. Each teacher will provide a course syllabus on the first day of class, which will specify any additional supplies needed. Additionally, we are asking for a donation of $25/student. These funds will enable Upper School to purchase additional supplies  as well as provide funds for the rewards & incentives offered to students when they use their LiveSchool points (e.g. lunch on admin, breakfast, etc.) Information about how to make this contribution will be communicated later this summer/early this fall.

Mark your calendar for some important upcoming dates:

  • Kingfisher Kickoff and Kingfisher Krush Release Date at Devil’s Foot Brewing - Saturday, August 10th from 3-8 pm. We've given our students the opportunity to submit designs for the can and have narrowed it down to the top 4.  Now, it is our community's time to weigh-in!  Please vote for one of the choices below.  Voting closes Sunday, June 9th.  Cast your family’s vote here!

  • Open House - Monday, August 5th & Tuesday, August 6th- More Details to come over the Summer

  • First Day of School - Wednesday, August 7th
