Chorus is one of the Fine Arts selections for Middle and Upper School students.  The choral program is comprised of different vocal ensembles, each of which is a performance-based classes that focus on developing appropriate breathing and vocal techniques, sight-singing skills and performance repertoire.  Students have the opportunity to perform in numerous concerts during the school year, participate in auditions for regional and state level Honors Chorus, and represent our school at concerts and events throughout the community, including the Mars Hill J. Ellwood Choral Festival, which includes a $92,000 scholarship to Mars Hill University.

For the 2023-2024 school year, all four choruses received excellent and superior level ratings at Dollywood’s Trills and Thrills Music Festival and excellent and superior ratings at the North Carolina Music Performance Adjudications.

For the 2024-2025 school year, all five choruses earned excellent and superior ratings at the North Carolina Music Performance Adjudications.
