Upper School Families,
On Thursday, we had another successful blood drive, and we want to extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed. We collected a total of 39 units from both community members and students! This generous donation will benefit 117 families! Looking ahead, we plan to host two drives next year, on November 21st, 2025, and March 20th, 2026.
This week, we enjoyed two fantastic concerts! Both the band and chorus performances were exceptional. We truly appreciate all our students for expressing their love for music through their instruments and voices. Well done, teachers!
Help us congratulate Kendall! Kendall was selected through a rigorous, statewide applicant pool of over 1800 other high schoolers to attend the NC Governor's School in the area of visual arts! She will spend 4 weeks at Meredith College this summer honing her art skills and learning alongside other high schoolers from all over the state.
Spring brings out summer attire that includes very short shorts and skirts, low tops, and short tops. While cute, these do not comply with the dress code. The Dress code can be found on our website and should be reviewed at home. We expect all US students to follow this code. Anyone at school not meeting expectations, can get a loan of shorts, tee shirt, sweat pants or sweatshirt from an administrator.
Drivers Ed will be offered in July here at ICI. The class runs 5 days and will be Monday, July 21 - Friday, July 25. Any interested family should sign up at Mountain Professionals Website. There is a specific class for ICI listed.
Food deliveries - parents may bring food personally for their child(ren), Seniors are allowed to order delivery on Tuesdays but they may not order for friends who are not seniors. Otherwise, we do not accept food deliveries even if a parent orders it. We just can’t accommodate. Please plan accordingly.
There are several important prom deadlines on April 18th. This is the last day to purchase tickets at the $75 rate. It is also the last day to make up attendance and the last day to submit guest forms.
