Upper School Families,

This week has been full of excitement! We celebrated Pirate Day, Movie Character Day, and our favorite, ImagiNation Day. ImagiNation Days aim to nurture a sense of creativity and community among our students. At the core of this event are the diverse clubs and service learning opportunities available for students to participate. Whether you’re a video game enthusiast or an aspiring leader, there’s a club that fits your interests.

We’re looking forward to seeing all the kids at the school dance tonight. We still need a few more donations, so if you can help, please click here.

It’s time for you to submit your Intent to Return for the 2025-2026 school year. The Intent to Return is completed within Infinite Campus.  The Intent to Return must be submitted for each student by Friday, February 28th to retain their seat for the 25-26 school year.

Yearbooks - The last day to order yearbooks is February 25th. Purchase a yearbook at jostens.com

Pre-ACT and ACT - On March 13th Sophomores and Juniors will be on campus for their tests, while Freshmen and Seniors will have a Virtual Day with their assignments posted in Infinite Campus. This assignment must be completed within five school days to be counted as “present.”

ACT Prep:

  • English Department Support: We are utilizing two new technology tools, No Red Ink and Vocabulary.com, to strengthen students’ grammar, writing, and vocabulary skills—key components of the ACT. No Red Ink is a powerful program that is transforming the way our students write by providing personalized grammar and writing support.

  • Subject-Specific ACT Warm-Ups: Students will engage in ACT-style warm-up questions across Math, English, and Science classes to familiarize themselves with test formats and question types.

  • Math 3 Review Sessions: Students in Math 3 will have dedicated review time in class to reinforce key concepts and problem-solving strategies.

  • Advisory Support for Juniors: Beginning February 17th, Mr. Crayton will be offering additional ACT math support during advisory for AP Precalculus and AP Calculus juniors. This is a great opportunity for students to receive targeted instruction and guidance.

Attendance makeup -Sessions have begun, occurring every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after school from 3:15 to 4:15 PM in Ms. Mitchell’s room. You can sign up using this link. Families should receive communication from their teachers if their student has been absent for 3, 5, 7, or 8 days in any class.

Have a great weekend,
