Support Manna Food Bank – Class Competition Underway!
Mr. Barham’s Service Leadership class has chosen their project for the semester! They are working to help Manna Food Bank recover from losses caused by Hurricane Helene.
To make a big impact, the class is hosting a friendly grade-level competition to see who can collect the most food. Right now, sixth grade is in the lead! The winning grade will be rewarded with donuts—so keep those donations coming!
Manna has specifically requested:
✅ Canned fruits and vegetables
✅ Dry rice and beans
✅ Foil pouches of tuna and chicken
Other canned or dry goods are also appreciated!
Donations can be brought to student-led conferences or sent in with students. Thank you for supporting this important cause!
School Pictures
Check your email for your student's school portrait!
You should have received an email from Legacy Studios with a picture proof.
Don't see the email? No worries, go to legacyfindmycode.com or see the attached photo for the QR code
Note: Student ID Number AND Student Last Name are needed to access picture code
Make-up School Pictures:
Make-up picture day will be this coming Wednesday, February 5th.
If your student missed having their photo taken, this is the last day to re-take portraits for the yearbook.
If you do not love your student's portrait and would like to have it retaken, then you can certainly do so!
K-5 parents, please let your teacher know if you would like your student's picture retaken, so we can arrange for their picture time.
6-11 students will be called to the gym by grade.
Note: If your student has their picture retaken, the make-up photo is what is posted in the yearbook, just an FYI!

Asheville Empire Lacrosse
Asheville Empire Lacrosse spent this week in our middle school PE classes. See below for a message from their leadership.
Hello IC Imagine Parents!! My name is Sean Humphreys and I am the Executive Director of the Asheville Empire Lacrosse Club. We spent the past week teaching the basics of Lacrosse in the middle school PE classes. We had a blast hanging out with your children and sharing our passion for this great sport. Our organization offers different opportunities to play Lacrosse in the Asheville area for boys and girls of all ages, whether it be through clinics, camps or recreational and competitive teams. Most of what we do caters to those just getting started in the game as we are in a part of the country where lacrosse is still growing. Our mission is to continue that growth through these partnerships with schools and by what we offer to the local community.
If you have a child interested in lacrosse, there are 2 ways to engage:
Sign-up for our spring recreational program. Information can be found the Asheville Empire Website; and/or
Sign-up to play at IC Imagine. Their team began last year and hopes to add more players this spring to continue to grow this sport at your school. Practices are immediately after school; no experience required; equipment provided; no cost to play.
Thank you for your consideration and we hope to see you on the Lacrosse Field with us or IC Imagine!
