Lower School Families,
Thank you for a great week! As we head into a very cold week next week, please be sure to send your students to school dressed for the weather. We head outside for recess whenever we can and want to ensure everyone is prepared for that. Don’t forget to be sure those names are in everything!
On Tuesday, we will send home Quarter 2 progress reports. As a reminder, at the end of January, we will enter our Middle of the Year Benchmarking period.
Third-Fifth grade families, thank you to all of you that participated in Bring Your Family to Spanish! We loved having you on campus to learn and see your students in action! Bring Your Family to Music is coming up soon- it is the week of 1/27!

Jazz Band Join us Tuesday, Jan. 28th from 5-7p for an evening filled with music and delicious noodles as the Jazz band presents a night to remember. Savor a spaghetti dinner while enjoying the tunes from the IC Imagine Jazz band. This is a wonderful way for you and your family to experience and see what our middle and upper school students have learned…and you are supporting this program at the same time! Message from Asheville Empire Lacrosse Asheville Empire Lacrosse spent a couple days in our lower school PE classes recently teaching students the fundamentals of this growing sport. Unfortunately, our recent remote learning days impacted their ability to see all lower school classes as we originally planned. We will continue to partner with them in the future. Hello IC Imagine Parents!! My name is Sean Humphreys and I am the Executive Director of the Asheville Empire Lacrosse Club. We have recently spent some time in your school teaching the basics of Lacrosse in PE Class. It was a blast hanging out with them and sharing our passion for this great sport. Our organization offers different opportunities to play Lacrosse in the Asheville area for boys and girls of all ages, whether it be through clinics, camps or competitive teams. Most of what we do caters to those just getting started in the game as we are in a part of the country where lacrosse is still growing. Our mission is to continue that growth through these partnerships with schools and by what we offer to the local community.
