Upper School

Upper School Families,

Upper School is off to a great start! Students are engaged and enthusiastic, diving into their studies and learning the expectations in Upper School.  National Art Honor Society, International Thespian Society, and fall sports are off and thriving, offering students a chance to explore their passions and develop new skills. The theater department has started the casting process for their play Alice in Wonderland which is going great! The sense of community is stronger than ever. It's shaping up to be an exceptional year filled with growth, discovery, and countless memorable moments.

Help us welcome, Dr. Parker King! We’re thrilled to have him join our Upper School Math department, and we look forward to the exciting new perspectives and insights he'll bring to our students and team.

Reminder:  We have changed our phone expectations this year.  Complete details are on our website. Please be aware that upon the second and all future infractions, the parent is required to come to pick up the phone personally here at IC Imagine.

Arrival/Dismissal/Parking/Buses - A couple quick reminders for the benefit of our whole community:

  • In the morning when you arrive, do not switch lanes.  You should remain in the lane to which you are directed.  We have a systematic way of counting cars to keep it equitable for everyone, and when cars switch lanes, this system is disrupted.

  • Whenever you come onto campus and must park, you should use the main parking lot’s visitor spaces.  Do not use the handicap parking spots as these are reserved for our families with handicap tags.  We have several families with children in wheelchairs who have had nowhere to park because these spots have been taken.  Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.

  • We still have room on our morning buses!  If you are interested in avoiding the line and can be at the Asheville Outlets at 7:15 am, this is for you! [Click here for more info!]

  • We have received several inquiries asking for help in finding potential carpools.  If you are seeking assistance, complete this ride-sharing form by Friday, August 23rd.  All responses will be shared with others who submitted information in hope that you may be able to connect with another family in your area with whom to partner.

Have a great weekend,
