Happy Friday! From talking with your children this week, we know you have heard of exciting happenings both in and out of the classroom, and next week promises to be just as fun and learning-filled!
Our Junior Imagineers have taken the lead on a new fundraiser for Recess equipment. Mark your calendar for the afternoon of May 22 and our first ever Kirby’s DIVE Day. K-5 students will be invited to stay after school and participate in fun rotations! The cost will be $10 per student and the deadline to sign up will be May 8. More details (including the MySchoolBucks link) to come next week!
Our Yearbook company provided IDs for all students this year. These will come home with your students in the coming week. The main thing students can use them is to have their ID number for their free library cards at Buncombe County Libraries! More info: https://www.icimagine.org/page/nc-public-library-student-access.
Join us for Science Night next Thursday (5/2), featuring experiments, demonstrations, and discussions for all ages. This event is an opportunity to explore the wonders of the universe through engaging activities.
Field Day is Friday, May 24th. Students participated in a competition to design the t-shirt, and the winner will be announced shortly. The winning design will be featured on the shirt. Sales will conclude on Monday, April 29th. Purchasing a shirt is not mandatory. Click here to buy!

This past week we started hosting our Investment Sharing Days. The table below has links to each homeroom’s sign-up. Each class has an assigned day for each investment. The weeks are as follows:
