Our students have been playing chess with Mr. Georges and it is so popular we need more chess sets. If this is something you would like to help with click here.
Some Moments to celebrate:
- Last Friday we had our winter Pep Rally. This was a time to celebrate our winter sports.
- Theatre auditions for Mamma Mia begin next week after school.
- Congrats to Ayla Altman-Jacobs, Malachi Mena, and Sofia Nilo they all received Superior scores for the NC Thespy and will move on to the state competition at Eastern Carolina University in March.
- Congrats to Julian Kasalu and Arya Patel who made high chairs in the All-District Band competition and qualified for the All-State Band competition in March.
- Congrats to Charlie Stowe, Ayta Patel, and Julian Kasalu who got selected to perform with the Mars Hill Honor Band.
- The Basketball teams have been doing a tremendous job and we will celebrate our seniors next Tuesday, February 6th for Senior Night.
- The Winter School Dance is on Friday, February 16th from 6-9 PM. You can purchase tickets on MyschoolBucks or your students can use 300 points for a dance ticket. You can sign up to bring snacks here.
