Imagine Families,
While the winter weather kept us on our toes at the start of 2024, we are wrapping up a wonderful January here at 110 Champion Way. Our community returned rested and ready for school. Our students have been actively engaged in the classrooms and our basketball teams, cheerleading squads, and mountain bike teams have been busy representing our school in the greater community.
There is always so much to celebrate, and this past week’s highlights include:
5 students being selected to represent our school in the WNC All District Band
3 students being accepted to the Mars Hill Honors Band
Seniors receiving college acceptance letters (so far “yes”-es to Appalachian State, Chapel Hill, NC State, Western NC, Queens University of Charlotte, UNC-Charlotte, UNC-Greensboro, Wingate, ECU, Mars Hill, and ETSU … and more to come!)
As a reminder, this coming Friday is a Teacher Workday AND a Remote Learning Day for our students. Information about Remote Learning Days has been shared previously and can be found on our website.
Enrollment season is underway, which means we are busy meeting prospective families and accepting applications. If you have any siblings you will be enrolling next year, be sure to fill out the enrollment application. We will be sending our Intent to Return form for current students in February, so be on the lookout for that email. (You will need to be able to log in to your PowerSchool Parent Account, so be sure you have access. If you are having any difficulty, contact us.)
In sharing your experiences at IC Imagine with other families, you are our greatest advertisers. More often than not we hear from people that they heard about IC Imagine through you. Campus Tours (every Thursday)
Discovery Day - Saturday, February 24th from 9 - Noon
Prospective Kindergarten Night - Thursday, February 29th
Rising 6th Grade Night - Monday, March 11th
Rising 9th Grade Night - Tuesday, February 27th
Shadow Experiences - available to any rising 9th or 10th grader

Attend Senior Night at next week’s basketball game on 2/6
Participate in the Middle School Student-Led Conferences on 2/6 (MS only)
Dine out at Chipotle (Brevard Road location) on 2/6 from 4-8 pm - 33% of the proceeds come back to IC Imagine!
Purchase a Pulsera bracelet in support of our Spanish program from February 5th - 13th
Select from one of 6 spring sports to participate in - soccer, baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, tennis, track {MTB already underway!} (MS & US only)
Attend the Upper School Dance on 2/16 (US only)
Attend IPO’s Connect & Collect community-building event at Salt Face Mule on 2/18
Attend IPO and Parent University on 2/19
Participate in the annual 3v3 Basketball Tournament 2/23 - 2/24
Begin Upper School Registration for the 24-25 school year
Save your loose change for Coins for Kingfishers (benefitting our PBIS program) the week of February 26th
