Your students did a wonderful job with today’s lockdown. As a reminder, these drills are an important part of our emergency procedures and help us all stay safe here at school.
Scheduled for February 6, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, are the much-anticipated Student-Led Conferences. We'll be sending out a sign-up sheet, allowing your child to guide you through a conference and share their middle school learning journey. Preparation for these conferences will kick-off in advisory and classrooms this coming week. Keep an eye out for more details next week, and mark your calendars to enjoy a Chipotle dinner that evening!
This past Wednesday, Upper School Teacher Ryan Osborne visited some of our eighth grade classes to talk about what to expect in 9th grade civics as well as to share other opportunities that are available in high school as it relates to social studies, history, and career exploration. Over the next few weeks, other Upper School Teachers will be heading downstairs to visit with 8th graders and share information about other classes and opportunities available for rising 9th graders.
Additionally, in the coming months, our eighth graders will have many chances to witness the exciting events taking place in our Upper School. We urge them to participate in a Shadow Day, which will give them a taste of what it's like to be a ninth grader. If your student is interested please use this link to sign up.
Valentine Pulsera Bracelet Sale by the Spanish Department The Spanish Department is having a Valentine Pulsera Bracelet Fundraiser. Students can use cash, checks, or credit cards to make purchases. The sale will be available daily during arrival.

Enrollment Reminders
As we move into the enrollment season, we encourage you to spread the word about IC Imagine with your friends, family, and colleagues. Please invite them to join us for Discovery Day on Saturday, February 24 from 9-12 and to check out our website to learn more about enrollment. Stay tuned for how you can volunteer to support and be a part of Discovery Day! If you live somewhere, work for a company, or own a business where you can set out one of our enrollment yard signs, please stop by the office and grab one. You can help us spread the word throughout the entire area.
