Lower School Families,
This week has been a short, yet busy week and are looking forward to the days we have with your students prior to Winter Break. Over the course of this week and next, our students are getting opportunities to appreciate the hard work of students in other grades by attending performances. Our Middle School theatre classes invited 3rd-5th grade students to come watch their performance of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Our K-5 classes will get to watch the band perform, our third graders are performing their sock puppet plays for our Kindergarten classes, and our fifth graders are performing plays for Kindergarten and First Grade right before break! Additionally, our students have been collaborating across grade levels through book buddies.
The month of November is Native American Heritage Month. During November, we recognize and honor the significant contributions the first Americans made to the establishment and growth of the United States. This week during SEL time, our K-5 students will read books that focus on learning about Native Americans.
As we mentioned last week, there are a lot of events prior to Winter Break. We hope to see you this coming week at our Lower School Showcase, the Connect and Collect event, the Chorus Concert and/or the Band Performance!

Connect and Collect Wednesday 11/15 at Blue Ghost Brewing
Join us for a night of fun and fundraising at Blue Ghost on November 15. Show some love to our school while enjoying some great food and vibes. Plus, a slice of the proceeds will go towards supporting our school!
