There was intense competition for our Basketball and Cheer tryouts and I personally thank all the students who came out. We are anticipating another fantastic Winter sports season and hope you will make plans to attend one or more games when we return from Winter Break. Winter Sports - Basketball & Cheer
Our student-athletes will begin their seasons with a stretch of road games over Winter Break. Make plans to attend one or more games beginning in January to cheer on our athletes. For those of you with lower school students, I encourage you to bring your children to games. In doing so, younger students can connect to older students, develop pride in their school, and see the opportunities that become available to them when they enter Middle School. Visit the Athletics Calendar where you can filter by sport to find game times and locations.
MTB (Grades 6-12)
An informational meeting was held last week. If you missed it and your child is still interested, please reach out to Coach Barrett. The MS/US MTB season and practices will officially begin in January, with some informal afterschool MTB events like “learn to ride” or “let's ride the trail together” in November and December. All MTB information can be found on our website.
As a reminder, Kingfisher MTB is always looking for volunteers to help coach. If you are interested, or know someone in the community who may be interested, please reach out to Coach Barrett. The more volunteer coaches we have, the more students we can accommodate!
Final Forms (Athletic Physical Packet)

Coaching Vacancies
Coaches make our teams happen! We have a handful of vacancies and are looking for experienced coaches to join Kingfisher Athletics. If you or anyone you know is interested in one or more of the following openings, please contact Coach Irvin for more information. These are paid positions and average 8-10 weeks depending on the sport and season.
