Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach Fall Break, IC Imagine would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the school year so far.  First and foremost, we thank you for entrusting and partnering with us to grow and educate your child(ren).

As we reflect on where we have been as an organization and look to our future, we want to hear from you on how things are going and identify where our opportunities for growth are in the coming year.

IC Imagine has partnered with educational experts, Leaders Building Leaders (LBL), to assist in launching a series of stakeholder (parent, staff, and high school student) surveys. The goal of these surveys is to establish a current reality of our school’s success so we can create a long term goal of improvement.

The parent survey questions will align with a staff survey that will be sent out. This will allow us to compare our data pointsThe results of these surveys are 100% anonymous and the data will be analyzed by LBL.

Our goal is for a minimum of 75% of our parents to complete this survey, which should not take more than 10 minutes of your time, and the results will be invaluable to us. Thank you in advance for your carving out this time for our school.

CLICK HERE to begin the survey.  This survey will close on Wednesday, September 27.

When we return from Fall Break, life on campus will resume to a fun and full calendar, and I hope you will engage with one or more of the events.  As a K-12 school, there is something for everyone.

Save the date for the Fall Festival on October 20, from 5-7 pm.  This is an event for the whole IC Imagine community. As of now we still need around 100 volunteers. If we don’t have volunteers this event cannot happen. Click here to learn more.

If you can’t join us for the Fall Festival, there will be Math Night, athletic events, a theatrical production, and more!

Curious about when to expect communications from IC Imagine?  This information can be found on our website.

Families of Seniors, in North Carolina, many colleges waive fees from October 16-20 as part of the NC Countdown to College.  Fall Break is an excellent time to support your student in getting started on the application process so they can be ready to submit that week for free.

Lastly, I encourage you to take the $10 for 10 challenge.  As a charter school, we receive 30% less than our counterpart schools, so donations are invaluable for our school.  In honor of our 10th year, we are encouraging donors to take the $10 Challenge: Commit to donating $10/month in honor of our 10 years!  We welcome donations of all sizes, knowing each family’s financial situation is different. Donations can be made as one-time gifts or set up as a monthly recurring contribution. Donate today

I hope next week you find time to enjoy family and friends.

Warmly,

Jenn Townley
