Kingfisher head on orange backdrop

IC Imagine,

We’ve had a great start to our Fall season and are gaining great momentum heading into the Fall Break. We have several events on campus, so I hope you find time to experience the incredible energy within Kingfisher Athletics.

As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to me.

Intramural Basketball League (Grades 4-8)

Kingfisher Athletics is thrilled to announce its Fall Intramural Basketball League is back for its 3rd season!  This league gets bigger and better every year, and is guaranteed to be fun for students and equally as exciting for spectators.  It is open to both boys and girls with games on Saturday mornings from October 7 - November 18.  Visit our website for more information and to register.  The deadline to sign-up is Monday, October 2!

Fall Sports - Volleyball, Soccer & Cross Country

Our student-athletes have started their seasons strong and have had some incredible competitive games!  Make plans to attend one or more games this fall to cheer on our athletes.  If you have a lower school student, attending games helps our younger students connect to older students, develop pride in their school, and give them a glimpse into the opportunities that become available to them when they enter Middle School.  Visit the Athletics Calendar where you can filter by sport to find game times and locations.

Lacrosse Shots (Grades 6-8)

Lacrosse has come to IC Imagine!  We have 28 lower school students participating in Session 1 of this program and are calling on middle schoolers to join us for Session 2!  Boys and girls are welcome.  No experience necessary.  Equipment provided.

  • Mondays (10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20)

  • End of school until 4:45 pm

  • Register Today!

    • $0 - for any student who paid the annual athletics fee as a participant in a 2023 Fall Sport (XC, volleyball, soccer)

    • $25 - for any student who is not on a 2023 Fall Sports roster

Baseball (Grades 6-11)

We recently had an informational meeting for both MS and US students interested in trying out this Spring. We discussed basic info and distributed a FAQ sheet to take home to parents. Our baseball webpage has been updated with all relevant information.

MTB (Grades 6-12)

The MS/US MTB season and practices will begin in January.  In November, there may be some MS/US afterschool MTB events like “learn to ride” or “let's ride the trail together”, but no formal MTB practices.  An informational meeting is planned for Thursday, October 12 at 3:30 pm.

As a reminder, we are always looking for volunteers to help coach, so if you are interested, reach out to Coach Barrett.  The more volunteer coaches we have, the more students we can accommodate!
