WCU College Fair:
IC Imagine 11th graders are invited to attend the Western North Carolina College Fair! This field trip is geared towards 11th graders planning to attend college after high school.

What: A College Fair (with over 70 colleges from all over the Southeast planning to attend)
Where: UNC Asheville
When: Wednesday, September 13th. Departing ICI by 8:15 AM and returning by 11:30 AM.
*There will most likely be an opportunity for us to eat lunch at the dining hall on campus. If your student would like to eat in the dining hall, please send them with money to do so. If they would prefer to pack a lunch, they are welcome to do that, too.
PSAT/NMSQT
IC Imagine will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT on our campus on Monday, October 30th beginning at 8:15 AM. This will be available to 10th & 11th graders only. This is in addition to the Pre-ACT offered to 10th graders in November and the ACT offered to juniors in April.
The PSAT/NMSQT is a practice SAT test and the score report provided after the test can help guide students who are preparing to take the SAT. The SAT is one of the tests that colleges may ask for as part of the college application process. Additionally, juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT and score within the top percentiles nationally may be connected with college scholarship opportunities.
The PSAT/NMSQT is not a required or state-mandated test, so it is entirely up to each family as to whether or not to have your 10th/11th grader take it. PSAT/NMSQT scores will be released directly to the student via their College Board online account. The school can also provide a paper score report if needed. PSAT/NMSQT scores are not printed on school documents (report cards, transcripts, etc.) and are not associated with any course grades or graduation requirements.
Please complete this Google Form and make the payment ($25) in MySchoolBucks by September 22nd if you'd like your student to take the PSAT/NMSQT. You will be provided with the payment link after you submit the Google Form.
