Lower School Families,
We have had a wonderful first full week of school here at 110 Champion Way! We have enjoyed getting to see all of your students engaging in their classrooms and throughout the building. Now that we are wrapping up day 9 of the 23-24 school year, all of our Kingfishers have gotten to go to all 5 of their Investment classes and are learning how to DIVE into each of those spaces.
This week, we will begin our monthly Lessons that go along with IC Imagine’s Statement of Inclusivity. For the month of August, our lessons focus on Civility Month. People being civil to other people is what makes the world a whole lot better and is the key focus of National Civility Month, which is held in August each year. This holiday was founded to help the world remember to treat others the way we wish to be treated ourselves — with kindness, empathy, and respect.
