Excessive OSS/ISS Extracurricular Participation
from the Student Code of Conduct:
Any student who has been suspended (cumulative days of ISS and/or OSS) five or more days will be subject to the Excessive OSS/ISS violation procedure. These students will not be allowed to participate in or attend any IC Imagine extra-curricular activities, including but not limited to sports events, dances, prom, senior activities, club activities, field trips , etc. for the remainder of the school year or until privileges are restored through a restorative appeal process Athletes may tryout and practice but cannot play when subject to the Excessive OSS/ISS Extracurricular Participation Policy. Students may audition and rehearse but cannot perform in optional after school productions while subject to the Excessive OSS/ISS Extracurricular Participation Policy. These procedures pertain to extra-curricular activities, not on campus class-connected extension activities such as performances that are part of class requirements. In order to regain extracurricular privileges, any student may follow the restorative process outlined by school administration. This procedure may only be done once, additional suspensions (ISS or OSS) will result in loss of the extra-curricular privileges for the remainder of the year and may not be appealed a second time.
